Our greenfield project is located in Gudrughat village, Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh. It spans 14.023 hectares and houses a 250 KLPD ethanol distillery and a 8.65 MW co-generation power plant

Power Co-Generation

The 8.65 MW plant operates on coal, supporting internal energy needs and reducing grid dependence.

Key Machinery Includes:

DDGS dryers, CO2 recovery units, cooling towers, SCADA systems, boilers, alcohol storage tanks, and bagging systems.

Quality Management

HGEL is committed to adopting ISO 9001 standards. Procurement processes and inspections are monitored by a Lenders’ Engineer to ensure compliance and quality.

Ethanol Blending Program (EBP)

Launched in 2003 with a target to achieve 20% ethanol blending by 2025. India has reached over 12% already

National Biofuel Policy 2018

Supports production of ethanol from grains with financial assistance schemes. Offers interest subvention and subsidies.

Global Biofuel Alliance (GBA

GBA, announced during India’s G20 Summit, positions India as a global leader in sustainable ethanol. HGEL aligns with this commitment.
